A successful set up of an indoor 5G gateway is key to ensure speed, signal strength, multi-users connectivity and bandwidth performance. NaviGate 5G™ is a companion app that helps end-users self-install their 5G FWA indoor gateway by optimizing the placement of their device where the reception of the 5G signal is best. This self-service positioning aims to remove home visits and reduce largely operators’ costs allocated on employees, time and resources while providing a broadband home experience for subscribers.
Vantiva’s OUTDOOR CPEs terminate the 5G connection and deliver broadband service into the home through any indoor home router. The device is designed for self-installation, it can be wall-mounted close to the window or attached to a balcony railing to deliver superior 5G broadband speeds.
To connect the 5G OMNI OUTDOOR CPE to a home router, a flat ethernet cable is provided that can be passed through a window for example without stopping it from closing. This avoids the need to drill a hole in the wall. Press Release
