Vantiva has received its 2025 EcoVadis rating: Gold, with a six-point improvement over last year and a placement in the top 5% of companies assessed globally and the top 1% within our industry. Scores improved across all four pillars, highlighting a commitment to remain connected to progress, performing better year after year, a resolve set forth over three decades ago.

Wired Since 1992

Our company’s approach to responsible business practices dates back to 1992, when Vantiva’s predecessor, Thomson, introduced an Environmental Health & Safety Charter — at a time when few companies in any sector were formalizing such commitments. France’s regulatory culture, one of the world’s earliest to require non-financial reporting under the 2001 NRE Law, created conditions in which Vantiva could act with focus and build with consistency.

Vantiva joined the UN Global Compact in 2003. A dedicated CSR department was established in 2007. When EcoVadis launched its assessment platform in 2009, we were among the first companies to participate and have been assessed continuously since.

Rooted in the Network

Headquartered in Paris, our ESG approach is shaped by one of the world’s most demanding regulatory environments. CSRD compliance, GDPR, EU AI Act alignment, and the EU Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency of Broadband Equipment — these operating conditions have pushed Vantiva’s practices forward for decades and positioned our company as an early mover on frameworks that are only now becoming standard industry expectations. We published our first CSRD-aligned sustainability report in 2025, ahead of the full mandate, and received an unqualified audit opinion on our Sustainability  Statement.

Accelerating the Signal

In October 2025, the Science Based Targets initiative approved Vantiva’s updated climate targets, confirming alignment with a 1.5°C pathway and a net-zero commitment advanced ten years to 2040. The targets include an 80% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030, a 60% reduction in Scope 3 emissions from the use of sold products by 2030, and a 90% reduction across all scopes by 2040.

The Full Circuit

Vantiva has been a member of the Responsible Business Alliance since 2016. Over 90% of procurement is assessed through EcoVadis, with targeted audits in high-risk regions. In 2025, the company obtained ISO 37001 certification for anti-bribery management across all entities globally, reinforcing governance standards for customers and partners operating in complex regulatory environments. The CDP awarded Vantiva a B score for its 2025 climate disclosure, with A scores in Governance, Risk and Opportunity Identification, and certified Scope 3 emissions.

Still Transmitting

Vantiva’s 2025 EcoVadis ratings place us in the top 1% of companies evaluated in our industry, providing a snapshot of a company in motion. In particular, the Labor & Human Rights score serves as a clear indicator of where our focus will intensify in the months ahead.

Regarding this year’s rating, CEO Tim O’Laughlin shared: “This rating reflects our teams’ 30-year commitment to pushing forward — learning from experience and acting on every opportunity to go further. The work continues.”

This drive to improve year after year ensures that as our customers build their own sustainability roadmaps, they can continue to depend on Vantiva to lead the way.
